Terms of use

1. Introduction

1.1. The administrator and responsible data processor of the Estonian Actors' Database is the Estonian Actors' Union NGO (Sakala 3, 10141 Tallinn, enliit@enliit.ee).

1.2. The database is accessible to actors and registered professional users. Professional users must submit a user rights application through the following form to gain access. Actors have access to their profile through the Estonian Actors' Union website.

 

2. Using the database

2.1. User rights are paid and personal. The user rights are granted for 12 months.

2.1.1. Only individuals can create user accounts.

2.1.2. The user is obliged to use the data collected from the database for its intended purpose.

2.1.3. The user is prohibited from sharing their user rights with third parties.

2.1.4. The user loses the right to use the database if they share their user rights with third parties. In case of loss of rights to the database, the fee paid for using the database will not be refunded.

2.2. Baltic Film, Media and Arts Institute students can access the database through their study organisers.

2.3. The user can view profiles of active actors in the database. The profile shows the actor's name, date of birth, place of residence with city accuracy, email address, registry of creative works, pictures, videos, voice samples, and other profile data characterising the actor. The user can also create a folder/project to save selected actors.

2.4. The actor can add, view, and edit their data in the database. By creating a profile, the actor consents, according to Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), to the processing of their data and making it available to third parties (users). The actor can also deactivate their data, after which their profile will not be reflected in the database search.

 

3. Data collected by the database administrator

3.1. By applying for and obtaining user rights, the user consents to the collection, processing, and maintaining of the following data by the database administrator: name, phone number, email address, company, login time to the database, search history, and folders.

3.2. The user is responsible for ensuring that the data they provide is accurate, correct, and complete.

3.3. The need to process personal data arises from the inherent purpose of the database and is necessary to ensure its effectiveness.

3.4. The Estonian Actors' Union follows the general principles of personal data protection in managing the database. The data is collected in the smallest possible amount necessary to fulfil the purpose.

3.5. The database administrator processes users' personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union and other relevant laws and regulations of the Republic of Estonia and the European Union.

3.6. The collected data is archived for up to 6 months after the end of the usage period.

 

4. Database user’s rights

4.1. The user of the database has the following rights regarding their personal data:

4.1.1. the right to request access to their personal data;

4.1.2. the right to request correction of personal data in case it is incorrect;

4.1.3. the right to request the deletion of personal data;

4.1.4. the right to request the restriction of the processing of personal data;

4.1.5. the right to data portability;

4.1.6. the right to object to the processing of their personal data.

4.2. To exercise these rights, the user must contact the database administrator at enliit@enliit.ee.
